Akon can supply your facility with heat resistant curtains which are used to protect people and objects from excessive heat creating sources such as ovens. These flame resistant curtains can withstand extreme temperatures up to 1000°F without any damage to the curtain material. These heat shield curtains can also be equipped with a reflective surface which will deflect a substantial amount of the heat back to the source.

These heat resistant curtains can be supplied in almost any length and height. Typically used for industrial applications, these flame resistant curtains are custom designed per application. Along with the curtain, industrial curtain tracks can be supplied to support them. These industrial tracks are constructed from high grade galvanized steel which is made to endure these high heat environments. Commonly used on furnace ovens and coke ovens.

Curtain Materials

There is a range of materials which we can choose from based on your specific requirements. These materials range from reflective materials which are great for reflecting external radiant heat away from your associates or material. There are also materials available which are great for holding in the heat. These range from a wide selection of insulated heat resistant curtains which can be as small as 6” x 6” to 200’ x 50’.

There are many benefits to using heat shield curtains which range from maintaining comfortable temperatures for your workers to protecting heat sensitive materials. On a larger scale we offer large heat resistant curtains which can roll up and down to effectively contain extreme temperatures for an entire section of a facility. One common application is where there are multiple curing ovens located in one area of a facility which are increasing the heat of the entire facility. Akon can provide a solution where the heat blocking curtains can be closed when curing is taking place. This will then allow the rest of the facility to remain at a comfortable working level.
