Common Questions
What if I have to have my curtain wall open?
If you have to have your curtain wall retracted and out of the way then a freestanding option is probably not ideal. All of the freestanding door options have to be bolted to the floor. If a side to side curtain wall is required then a sewn in strip curtain or a simple Velcro split would probably be your best option. Another option is to have some of your curtain wall retractable on curtain track while leaving the portion that has the freestanding door as static non moving.
Do The Free-Standing Frames Require Welding?
There is no welding required for any of our entry options. The freestanding frames simply bolt together. They also have base plates which have to be bolted to the concrete floor. Once fully assembled, you simply attach the curtain wall to the outside of the freestanding frame.
