Step 1 – Width x Height
Measure the width and the height of the door opening or area where you want to install the strips.
Step 2 – Choose Your Hardware
Decide on the type of mounting that best fits your application.
- Wall mount is preferred on doorways. This gets the hardware out of the doorway and allows the strips to overlap the door jambs for maximum seal and air lock
- AKON will add 6″ more in total height and add about 6″ total in width
- For in-jamb use header mount, simply order the exact size you need to span the opening
- Universal mount can also be used when you are not sure
