The CS-500 Cable Mounted Retractable Curtains are great options for home garages and workshops. The retractable curtain is supported by a steel cable that rolls up into a cable reel. To deploy it, the operator simply walks the cable and curtain to a mounting fixture located up to 26 feet away. This side-to-side shop curtain provides a convenient way to separate areas for privacy, safety, washdowns, aesthetics, and more.

FAQ

Do you pull the cable out first then the curtain?
Yes, the CS-500 is a retractable curtain mounted on a cable, but the cable needs to be extended first. To set it up, simply pull out the cable and attach it to the opposite wall. Then, walk back to the reel and pull the shade out along the cable. Once the curtain is in place, you can open and close it while keeping the cable intact. If you need full access, reverse the process: push the curtain back to the reel, then retract the cable.

Does the curtain come with the mounting post?
The mounting post is optional. If you wanted the shade to be completely freestanding in the middle of the floor, you would purchase two mounting posts. Please keep in mind that the mounting post should be anchored to the floor.

What does the shade connect to?
The shade comes with a mounting bracket that you can attach to our optional freestanding post or any vertical surface.

Does the reel assembly swivel left and right?
Yes, it does swivel left and right, giving you complete access.

Do you supply custom sizes?
We can provide smaller shades than those listed on the website; however, we cannot provide larger ones as the cable would sag due to the weight of the shade.
